James Horner's "ALIENS" in Full Score
James Horner's "ALIENS" in Full Score
Notable for so many reasons, "Aliens" was the score for which James Horner received his first Oscar nomination. Surprising perhaps, given that barely any of the score exists intact in the final edit of the movie. Infamous for the strain it put on the working relationship between Horner and director James Cameron, this book presents each cue as it was originally intended and can be studied alongside the London Symphony Orchestra's soundtrack recording, available from Varèse Sarabande. For the first time, enjoy being able to study the extended note ranges, techniques and effects which Horner employed to create this iconic piece of film music history.

Fast shipping. Excellent communication. Very serious and detailed score transcription work.
Fantastic score, beautifully produced!
Everything is perfect! It was fun to be able to read the full score. Thanks for your hard work. Highly recommended
This is both beautiful and amazing. Studying the scores and sharing this great music with my sons has been an exceptional experience. The clarity, print quality, and accuracy are exactly what I need as a music educator and composer. I can immediately compare the ideas of the two composers from Alien and Aliens - and the inclusion of the themes with analysis at the start of the 'Alien' scorebook is perfect for sustained study. You have made me a thrilled musician and father who recently introduced his teens to the world of the xenomorph!
In analyzing "Going After Newt" I did find one transcription error (one of the string parts had a note missing a #). I might be wrong, of course. I'm sure there will be minor errors here and there. Besides that nitpick, this is a great score. Really appreciate everything about it and happy to have found it! I only regret not buying the Alien score at the same time.
