A week before I purchased this, I had the pleasure of seeing Lawrence of Arabia at a special 70mm print screening. I'd heard the music before, but seeing it in such a majestic format was truly dazzling. I was on here purchasing some other scores when I saw that this was avaialable and it was a no-brainer to add it to my order. It's nicely printed and bound and is oversized for easy reading.
Beautiful job on this score. Securely packaged. Roy Phillippe Editor of Henry Mancini's film scoring text "Case History Of A Film Score: The Thorn Birds". Charts available from sheetmusicplus.com Many performances on YouTube.
Great score!
The score is very beautifully engraved, nicely bound and, of course, accurate. The pages are double-sided. On the back side of the cover page, the instrumentation is listed along with the performance time and a brief note regarding the piece. It is all very neat and professional-looking. I can't think of one negative criticism.
Excellent
