Now a household name thanks to Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings trilogy, in 1993 composer Howard Shore was perhaps more well known for brooding orchestral suspense and horror music than the wholesome comedy genre, though perhaps most notably he had scored the Tom Hanks movie Big.
