Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the fourth of J.K. Rowling’s iconic series to be translated to the big screen. With harry and his friends now quickly growing up, and the story exploring much more mature themes en route to the rebirth of Lord Voldemort, Patrick Doyle’s score reflects this darker tone as it expands on the thematic material of the previous movies. Doyle also made a conscious effort to make the score in places much more British; the Hogwarts March being an example of this. The theme is actually played on screen by the school band during the Tri-Wizard
Tournament as the students compete to win glory for their school.
