The Voyage Home is one of my favorite Star Trek films and finding a score available was pleasant surprise. I've always been a lover of film music and just to look at a score and follow along with the soundtrack is a joy for me. Thanks for making this score available. Just to put this out there, Star Trek Generations Overture by Dennis McCarthy would be another great score I would be interested in purchasing if it should ever become available. Thanks again.
Of all the scores I got from your site, Rosenman's Main Title for Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home has the worse size. Scaling it down to A4 printable size leaves way too much white space and shrinks reability. The other Star Trek score where way better in that regard. Thanks for your feedback Jeroen. This cue presents a bit of a challenge in terms of vertical spacing, so given that the published file was going to be digital and not restricted to a physical media I 'cheated' and increased the vertical height of the page. I'll take another look at it with printing in mind as soon as I get a gap in my schedule. Customers will receive a 'file updated' alert if and when I make any changes so you can re-download it at that time. -C
The scores that Chris makes are always top notch. They’re beautifully engraved and the music is always interesting. I’ve loved this particular score since I was a kid and it’s so nice to be able to see just how Leonard Rosenman put it together.
