SUITE from BEN-HUR - Miklós Rózsa **PRINTED SCORE**
Full Orchestra. Score Only. Grade 4 (Advanced)
At the 32nd Academy Awards ceremony held on April 4th 1960, Gene Kelly presented Miklós Rózsa with his third (and final) Oscar statue. Ben-Hur won 11 awards that evening, a feat only matched by Titanic in 1997 and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King in 2003. The “first intimate epic” has stood the test of time and Rózsa’s magnum opus is still one of the most recognisable in film history. Rózsa himself prepared a suite of cues from the score, which was performed in Burbank, California in January 1960 and again in July by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in London. The suite became one of the most requested and popular items whenever he was invited to conduct around the world.
Meticulously engraved from the original manuscript, the epic score to William Wyler's classic is available exclusively from ChrisSiddallMusic.com

BEN HUR by Miklós Rozsa is considered one of the greatest scores ever created! I so look forward to diving in and learning from it! Thank you for making this available!!
Hi, There, This is Cicero Alves, a conductor from Brazil. My friend Leonor brought the music score from U.K. to me. It's a wonderful edition. Thank you very much. I should buy the parts too, but I didn't.
This is an excellent score. The engraving is of the highest standard, and the printing and binding is perfect. It is wonderfully refreshing to be studying and conducting this music from a legible and well laid out version of the score, rather than the illegible, inaccurate, handwritten editions which come from music hire libraries. Thank you, Chris, for all your terrific work on these great masterpieces.
